With Tygo in tow, my baby born earlier this year, I’ll be walking 60 miles over the course of next month as part of the ‘60 Miles in June’ Challenge for Tommy's, the UK's leading pregnancy charity.

Having had three miscarriages myself I have experienced first hand the emotional and physical pain involved, so this is a cause that feels particularly important to me personally. Tommy’s are a wonderful charity funding vital medical research into miscarriage, preterm birth, and stillbirth and offering support to those who have experienced loss.

Whilst it would be wonderful to raise a bit of money for a very worthwhile cause, I’d also love this to be an opportunity to open up conversations about miscarriage and baby loss and encourage anyone going through a difficult time not to lose hope and to reach out for help…you will be amazed at the support there is and the people you might meet just by being open about your experience.
