My Dad was diagnosed with Dementia in 2019. It progressed quite significantly before he passed away a year ago in April 2022.

Alzheimer's Society provided support to me and my family, and I will remain forever grateful.

That's why on Saturday 19th August 2023, I'm going to throw myself out of a plane in Lincolnshire to raise money for this incredibly important charity.

Two years ago, in early 2020, as my Dad was in the late stages of Alzheimer's, I did a "Run for Dementia" challenge where I raised just over £650. I'd love to try and match or beat that.

Alzheimer’s Society aims to transform the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, they will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
