Completing 75 Miles During September for Pasic

We support families facing childhood cancer to make sure no family faces it alone

Story

September is Children's Cancer Awareness Month. As many of you will know, this is something that has personally affected me and my family over the past 10 months.

My youngest son Alfie was diagnosed with leukaemia in November 2023 and we have been fighting the cancer battle since then. Fortunately, he is doing very well and long may that continue. Unfortunately, that has not been the case for several of the amazing children and families we have met during this journey.

We, and many of the other families we have met on Ward E39, have been helped by a charity called Pasic. They support children and families facing cancer across the East Midlands.

This September I am taking part in Pasic's 'Steptember' challenge and aiming to complete 75 miles throughout the month. I will be doing this mainly by running, but also by walking too.

Pasic is a small charity and the money is greatly needed to help support families facing every parents worst nightmare.

If you could sponsor me and help me reach my fundraising goal that would be amazing. All support is hugely appreciated.

Fat Boy Runs has his running shoes on again! Thank you all for your support!
