Story
I'll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 to raise money for Cats Protection. I see this as a meaningful way to support cats in need, especially given my recent experiences caring for two rescue cats while their owners were away. I looked after them for two weeks earlier this year, and they were no bother at all—gentle, well-behaved companions who made it clear that, like so many other rescue cats, all they need is a bit of care and attention to thrive. Their situation reminded me of my parents’ cat, who, while not a rescue, has a loving home and a sense of security that every cat deserves. It's heart-warming to see cats that have been given a second chance through rescue programs and now live in happy homes.
Raising money for Cats Protection will help to ensure that other rescue cats have the same opportunity to find loving homes and receive the care they need. Your support will help provide more cats with the opportunity to experience the love and safety that those two rescue cats, and my parents' cat, already enjoy.
