In 2021, I was found to have a malignant melanoma on my forearm. Although it was obviously a very scary experience, I received wonderful care every step of the way from the expert and kind staff.

Three years on, I still have regular check-ups but fortunately all has been clear since the initial diagnosis.

It enhances services to be over and above what could be provided from NHS funding alone. And it supports research and innovation that drive improvements in healthcare for patients of this great and historic hospital, and throughout the NHS.
