Story

In 2021, I was found to have a malignant melanoma on my forearm. Although it was obviously a very scary experience, I received wonderful care every step of the way from the expert and kind staff.

Three years on, I still have regular check-ups but fortunately all has been clear since the initial diagnosis.

Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) funds new services and facilities for the benefit of patients and their families. It enhances services to be over and above what could be provided from NHS funding alone. And it supports research and innovation that drive improvements in healthcare for patients of this great and historic hospital, and throughout the NHS.

I have never run a half marathon before, but I am running the Cambridge Half Marathon 2025 to support this amazing charity. My personal target is to finish in less than 2 hours. Will you give me an extra spur to effort by sponsoring me?!?!
