Ridgeway Walk
Campaign by The Unicorn School (RCN 1070807)
In September, our Chair of Governors will be walking the 90-mile Ridgeway trail. He will be joined by students, teachers and staff. All walking in support of The Unicorn School.

Story

I will be trekking the 90 mile Ridgeway National Trail (Ivinghoe Beacon in Buckinghamshire to Avebury in Wiltshire) from Sep 11-14 to raise money for the The Unicorn School, Abingdon with my walking pal Andrew Strivens. We have walked distances of up to 100k over the last six years and this will be our biggest challenge yet!

The Unicorn is an independent school for children aged 7-16 who have dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). Andrew has been Chair of Governors at The Unicorn since January 2023.

We are fundraising to help fund the conversion of additional buildings to house the new Unicorn Sixth Form centre, planned to open in September 2025.
