I love running but I've never run a marathon so I've decided to challenge myself in memory of Lucy, one of my best friends who I sadly lost last year. She was a true inspiration who did lots for charity so now it's my turn......

Lucy lived in East Anglia and was helped by the East Anglian Air Ambulance, so I wanted to do something to give back to them.

East Anglian Air Ambulance receives no regular government funding and relies entirely on the support of the community.

The crews are tasked an average of 7 times a day across the two bases, with each mission costing in the region of £3,750. They can reach anywhere in the region within 25 minutes when every second can make the difference to a patient in their time of need.
