Story
I am running 26.2 miles in Budapest, in October for Charity.
I have decided to take on this challenge for Marie Curie, the UK’s leading end of life charity. Marie Curie supports people affected by any terminal illness, such as dementia (including Alzheimer’s), motor neurone disease, Parkinson’s, heart diseases and advanced cancer.
Every five minutes someone in the UK dies without the care and support they need.
The average age that someone experiences their first bereavement is at 20 years old, meaning that for many people across the UK. And with your help we can support them through it.
I am also running this marathon for my own mental health, something I have struggled a lot with recently. I’d really appreciate your support.
Love, Chris x
