I will be taking on my own personal challenge to run a half marathon every day in May in memory of our beloved Pops and in support of Prostate Cancer awareness and charity.

We sadly lost 'Pops' who was Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and friend to many in November 2023 which has been a colossal loss on our family and any part that I can play in meaning that this does not continue to happen to other families will be a huge reward to myself and fmaily.

12000 men die from Prostate Cancer each year and it is the most common cancer in the UK without a screening programme, however, this is about to change with Prostate Cancer launching their £42 million research programme - the TRANSFORM trail - which will help to find the best way to screen men so that one day all those at risk are invited for regular tests in the hope that this will be in time for a cure.

Whilst my challenge will be tough, how I see it is that this will be short lived and those who live every day with illness, be it cancer, mental health, eating disorders, etc. do not get the option to have a day off......so 31 days is nothing really.

Anything that you can give to help raise funds for this amazing charity would be greatly appreciated and will make a difference.
