Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Friends of Honley Library have planning permission to extend their premises, which requires quite a large sum. I volunteer at Honley library, and would like to raise some money to support their appeal, through sponsorship to appear on the TV show Countdown on Channel 4, recording for which for me is on Monday 11th November. Friends of Honley Library is a registered charity, No. 1181829. The library is run and supported by a great team of volunteers, who organise events to encourage people to use the library, from the earliest age, and the library offers a wealth of support to the local community. All money donated will go to this appeal and will be greatly appreciated.
