Story

In this 200th anniversary year of the RNLI 200 lengths of Kirkcudbright Swimming Pool (4000m) seemed like a very good idea back in January. My aim is to raise money for the new boathouse extension. The RNLI has been a big part of my family’s life since my husband John joined the crew over 30 years ago. The boathouse although much loved has needed upgrading for years and as Kirkcudbright Press Officer I have been very much involved with this campaign and wanted to contribute something myself.

If you have not already given to the Kirkcudbright Boathouse appeal I would be delighted if you feel you could sponsor me.

Many thanks for your support

Christine

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
