In May 2022 my life was forever changed when I was told I had an aggressive form of breast cancer. In November, before I could even start my chemo, I was told this had spread to my liver, pelvis and spine. The news was devastating. When I felt I was at my lowest I was signposted to Maggies and from the moment I walked through the door I felt it was a safe space and somewhere I could be myself. I have met some amazing people who have helped me through this really difficult and trying time.

I’ve been chosen to be part of the Maggie's choir as part of the Runway event. I’m so excited to be able to give something back after all the support and kindness they have shown me throughout my cancer journey.
