I'm doing a trek to Machu Picchu in October 2024 for LimbPower - Those of you who know me know I have been a prosthetic technician with Opcare for many years - during this trek I will be taking my technical skills with me to support members of the team who are amputees themselves - I never thought that one day I'd be adjusting and fixing limbs half way up mountains in Peru - but here we are!

LimbPower is a fantastic charity which supports amputees in their rehabilitation, recovery and helps them get access into sports and the arts.

Being a musician myself, I know just how important the arts can be to general well being and mental health - If I can do my part to help someone get access to that opportunity, I will... and I am!

As much as I'm excited to be doing it, it's a huge challenge - It'll require some intense training to get me physically and psychologically ready for the altitude at which we'll be trekking, and I'll keep you all updated with mt Rocky-style training montages as the months tick on.

Any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated.

Now... I'd better stop typing and hit the gym!
