Story
What: Completing the 2025 London Marathon
When: 27 April 2025
Why: Raising money for Mind, supporting the outstanding work they do delivering vital mental health support services for people across the UK
How: Running, walking, crawling and probably a bit of crying!
On 27 April I'll be taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon in support of Mind, alongside 11 colleagues at the Clear Group.
By trudging through endless training runs, battling through blisters, ignoring sore legs and turning up my headphones to drown out self-doubt, I hope to complete the 26.2 miles and at the same time raise valuable funds for a fantastic charity doing all-important work to address the mental health crisis that's currently impacting so many people across the country.
Alongside the personal glory of (hopefully) finishing before the cut off time and the prospect of a post-marathon pizza, supporting a great cause will make all the pain worth it.
Your donations and support - big or small - are hugely appreciated and will go a long way to supporting Mind's work, as well as giving me that extra push when I'm 15 miles in and looking for the nearest bus to get on and take me to the finish line. Thank you!
