We’re going to boldly go where the Watchathons have never gone before and (for this 9th Watchathon) we'll be watching 13 Star Trek films back to back with all proceeds going to The Brick … and as usual it will all be live on Twitch!

Starting at 9am on Saturday 20th December and finishing at 12.02pm on Sunday 21st, you can watch me as I battle my way from Shatner's Kirk to the Kelvin timeline, with the slight diversion of Picard's crew in between! That's just over (by 2 minutes) 27 hours of Star Trek films - and boy, do they vary in quality!

So, why The Brick?!

Homelessness is something that needs addressing throughout the year but during the winter (and at Christmas time) it feels even more important to support people with nowhere to live,

The Brick's aim is to eradicate homelessness and poverty in our community. We support homeless people, those facing homelessness, and people experiencing crisis or poverty in the Wigan borough. People who are marginalised by society, who can, with support, become independent and contribute positively to their communities. Services include crisis intervention, housing and health support on behalf of the Council, a foodbank, social and employment training, and wide-ranging volunteering opportunities. The Brick ensures no one in our community gets left behind.
