Story
Hi, I’m Chris! My daughter Lois (8) has received amazing support from a charity called Stick n Step every week for over 3 years now and it’s about time I gave something significant back. I am therefore planning to cycle from Whitehaven (Cumbria) through the Lake District, over the Pennines and onto Sunderland in a day. Assuming we don’t get lost this will be at least 135 miles and 4,000m of climbing. I’m lucky enough to be accompanied by three friends, Simon and Anthony for the ride and Steve who’ll drive the route with us, keep us fed and be on hand for any problems.
Stick ‘n’ Step are an amazing charity with an incredible team helping children with Cerebral Palsy on a daily basis, most importantly Lois and all the other children we meet absolutely love their time there. Stick ‘n’ Step is a charity that enables, inspires and supports children with cerebral palsy and their families
They support children and young people with cerebral palsy up to the age of 25 through the provision of free weekly conductive education (CE) sessions.
Stick ‘n’ Step’s sessions are delivered by highly skilled professionals from our specialist centres in Wallasey and Runcorn and are designed to help each child reach their personal potential in terms of mobility, confidence, and independence.
They don’t receive any government funding; rather they rely on amazing supporters to continue our important work.
Stick ‘n’ Step need an army of supporters and volunteers to help raise the £750,000 required to deliver our services to over 100 families each year
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Chris, Simon, Anthony and Steve.
