Story
"Restart Africa is the name for the Sanata Charitable Trust, a charity set up in 2008 by Mary Coulson in response to the desperate needs of the street children of Gilgil, Kenya. The charity’s motto, “Think not who you are, but what you can become”, underlines our belief that given the love and opportunity that Restart Africa provides, our children will all have wonderful futures ahead…"

The orphanage is a short walk from Pembroke House School. Many pupils have come to Sedbergh to study over the past ten years, including two current boys in Evans. Through Sedbergh's connection with Pembroke, a relationship with Restart Africa has developed and many staff, pupils and OS have visited and seen first-hand the incredible work they do.
Evans House, in conjunction with Sedgwick House, have committed to sponsoring two girls at Restart; Mary Mweru aged 7 & Miriam Njeri aged 6.
Please consider donating this Christmas as part of our ongoing support for Mary, Miriam and all the children at Restart.
