Story
Penny was our world, a devoted and loving, mother; wife; daugher and friend. Her untimely passing will always be a deeply sad memory. But the light and love shared bewteen myself and our children, and all those she knew, will shine thorugh.
From the moment of diagnosis in 2014 to recurrence in some years later. Penny has travelled this journey with the same elegance and dignity that she applied to every corner of her life.
We shared so many wonderful times together as a family, our lives were full of happiness, even through the dark cloud of cancer. That was Penny's legacy to us, memories we will hold on to forever.
I attended pretty much every hospital visit with Penny and stood side by side with her through the hardest of times and we have met some truly amazing people along the way.
It is difficult to think who had the most impact on Penny's quality of life, from some of the brilliant staff in the NHS to St Gemma's who have been fantastically supportive.
St. Gemma's connected us with The Robert Sinclair Davidson Foundation who unlock independence and provide support for young families struggling with dibilitating, terminal illness.
We think it is worth raising awareness of who they are, and what they do for those unfortunate enough to need their help.
Please give what you can to support this local foundation based in Harrogate, so they can continue this transformative work.
With Love,
Penny, Chris, Josie and Jack x
