I am running the 2024 Manchester Marathon in April - my first marathon. I am running in memory of my Mum, who sadly died last March, and who was a staunch supporter of Oxfam and their humanitarian work. She also supported my running journey, and it seemed appropriate to combine my love of running with her passion for helping others. I have since found out that my Dad, Brian Robinson, also supported Oxfam. He also died at the beginning of last year, so this is for him too! Please feel free to donate as much or as little as you can. I know times are hard, but there are people in the world for whom life is much harder. And raising funds for them, in my Mum's memory (and Dad's), will help me through the weeks of arduous training, in all weathers, that lie ahead!
