Story
5 years have somehow flown by since I first entered the London Marathon during my early days of running, so now feels the right time to put myself through it again and raise a worthy amount for a cause that fights every day for something so easily taken for granted.
This year I am supporting Shelter.
Times are not easy for so many people, and Shelter's cause resonates across the country right now. From the homelessness I witness along my own road on a daily basis, to the everyday struggles that are widely reported, Shelter defends the right for everyone to have a safe home.
If you would like to support Shelter and crank up the pressure on my training in the process, you can make a donation towards this incredible charity.
I warmed up with Shelter's Vertical Rush event in February - running up the 932 steps of London's Tower 42 skyscraper (the NatWest Tower in previous years).
And I shall be resorting to more Strava Art in the run up to the big day to keep the fundraising going.
If you’re able to sponsor me and help support Shelter, that would be fantastic.
But if you can’t, then wish me luck!
