We raise funds to promote Gaelic Arts to develop a Cultural Centre in Glasgow

Story

The An Lòchran centre in Partick, Glasgow, is a non-profit organisation with two principal objectives:

i) to develop and promote Gaelic arts in Glasgow;

ii) to establish a cultural centre for Scottish Gaelic in the city.

It is a wonderful venue where local learners of all levels and fluent speakers can get together on a regular basis to use the language and to socialise. I have found it to be absolutely invaluable for my own language journey, and so I am doing the Kiltwalk in April to try to give something back to it. This will involve me walking 22.6 miles from Glasgow to Balloch at Loch Lomond - and I'm still debating whether I'll be doing it in a kilt! (Update: there will be a kilt!)

I'm hoping you can help me to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause.

I've also recorded a short video in both Gàidhlig and English about the event at https://youtu.be/yNof5lMimTM?si=JFcKjOhKqbfeWwL9

Mòran taing! / Many thanks!

Chris
