Story
In June 2023, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour and had surgery to remove part of the tumour at James Cook University Hospital. I also underwent further surgery in May this year and so I wanted to do something to thank the team who treated me so well and also for those in the future who are affected by this horrible disease. That's why I'm taking part in the Great North Run on 8th September 2024, raising money for South Tees Hospitals Charity.
Your donations will help fund initiatives over and above what the NHS would routinely provide - whether it’s state of the art equipment, pioneering research or increased staff training. Together, we can make a real difference to patient care and the wellbeing of our incredible NHS staff. We can help our local NHS go further. 💙
Unfortunately I have been told I now need to have further treatment which has messed up my training plans for this event so my wife Sarah Neal 😊 might have to step in for me. If I can run, walk or crawl my way through it I will though so please, please donate for a very good cause that’s close to me and my family’s heart. Thanks to you all for your kindness ❤️
Please donate £500 (GBP) to support this cause and help us make a difference! Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
