Fundraising for Cornwall Hospice Care
In May of this year (2024) my mother in law spent 48hours at Cornwall Hospice Care’s Mount Edgcumbe hospice in St Austell. The care she received, the support we received as a family and the whole experience was made so positive at such a tremendously difficult time for us all thank to the efforts of the staff and volunteers at the hospice.
As a result Jess (my wife) kindly applied for me to join the team taking on the iconic London Marathon on 27th April 2025 to raise vital funds for Cornwall Hospice Care. By sponsoring me you will make a huge difference to someone in Cornwall facing a terminal illness right now. Your donation will help fund the hospice nurses enabling them to provide peace, comfort and calm to patients and their families in Cornwall.
Your donation will count. The dedicated team of nurses in the two hospices in Cornwall work around the clock to give end of life care to people in our community living with a terminal illness. From our experience the hospices are such special places and without our support this wouldn't be possible. The thought of the alternative of spending those last 48hours in a busy 6 bay hospital wing is unthinkable.
Your donation will make such a difference to me in taking on this challenge as well as supporting this charity so close to our hearts. Thank you for being the difference.
