Story
We did it! Between 17th and 24th September I joined Matt Downie, the chief executive of Crisis and a small group of riders on an equally challenging and memorable journey. We all cycled 486 miles between London and Edinburgh over 7 days to raise vital funds for crisis and their mission to end homelessness in the UK.
On the ride, we frequently endured heavy winds and torrential rain and on 6 consecutive days we cycled between 60 and 90 miles a day.
We finished the ride on Saturday at the new Crisis Edinburgh Skylight centre.
Many thanks to all of you who have donated so generously. It is much appreciated by me and Crisis.
Our target is to raise £100k as a group and we are edging closer to that number but are not quite there yet!
