Story
As the Project Manager for The Big Dog Art Trail, and a running enthusiast, I wanted to combine two of my passions to help raise funds for Julia’s House Children’s Hospice Charity.
Please either kindly donate to help me reach my target, or join me for the challenge of running between all 72 sculptures on The Big Dog Art Trail, on Wednesday 26th July.
PLEASE NOTE....If you wish to join me on the challenge, please be aware this is NOT an official Julia’s House event. I am taking on this challenge as an individual, so if you decide to join me it will be at your own risk. Julia’s House is not responsible for this event so your health, safety and well-being during your run will be your responsibility. Do bring your own refreshments and any other support you may need. And hopefully some supporters too!
I’ll be following the attached route and will be arriving at approximately the following times. Please feel welcome to join me for as much or as little of the route as you wish. If you do plan on joining the run, then please contact me at chris.hyde@juliashouse.org.
The route will start at the North Library @ Orbital Shopping Park (8.30am) and finish at the NSBRC Sculpture @ Lydiard Park (11.48am)I am taking on this challenge because I want to help families facing unimaginable heartbreak - the knowledge that their child may not live into adulthood

Julia’s House provides frequent, flexible respite care for children with life-shortening conditions, giving their parents a much-needed break. Amazingly, Julia’s House has to rely on the support of the local community to raise 92 per cent of the income it needs each year to run its vital service, which is why I have chosen to support them. Your kind and generous sponsorship will make a life-changing difference to the most vulnerable children and families across Wiltshire and Dorset.
