Raising funds to give children with visual impairments a special theatre day

Story

Happy Days Children's Charity provides day trips and short breaks to some of the UK's most vulnerable families. Last year, we supported over 20,000 children with mental and physical disabilities, life limiting conditions, children who have been abused and young carers. But we need your help to continue our vital work.

We are trying to give 130 children from a special educational needs school in Cambridge a wonderful Covid Safe theatre experience to have some fun with their classmates in a safe environment where they can shout and scream and make as much noise as they like.

The children, aged 3 - 17, have severe learning difficulties, many have additional medical needs and autism. They're really looking forward to this experience, as their circumstances mean that life and leisure opportunities can often be limited.

We'd be so grateful if you could help us raise £1008 to make the children's wish a reality.

About the charity

What a Difference a Day Makes... Last year, Happy Days helped almost 25,000 children with life-limiting illnesses, mental and physical disabilities and those who had suffered abuse and neglect. We also gave magical days out to bereaved children, as well as young carers supporting their families.
