Story
As many of my friends, family and colleagues know, my mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2022. Throughout this difficult journey she was treated with dignity and respect by various institutions, none more so than St Ann’s Hospice (Little Hulton), where she spent her last days. The way in which both my mum and any visiting friends and family were treated by the staff was nothing but amazing.
I didn’t quite realise the extent of support that this wonderful institution undertakes. With this in mind, I would like to raise some money to support the St Ann’s to enable them to continue providing the incredible care that my mum received.
To do so, myself (and any volunteers) are planning to take on a triple Erg marathon at Fusion CrossFit Leigh. This will be undertaken within a single 24 hour window on Saturday the 1st June and is comprised of a 42.195km Ski, row and bike! For those of you who need the help, that’s a total of 126,585m!
I encourage anyone to come down and support/join in on the day and to donate to this fantastic cause!
