On Saturday 19th of August, Okeford Football Club and our family are holding a charity football match in memory of Chris Chaffey. This man gave 40 years to the club with his playing days and also managed the youth and men's teams over the years. On the day, we will be raising money for the British Heart Foundation. Sadly, friends and family have been taken because of heart related illness so this is a charity we are passionate about supporting

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
