For all of you that know me my beard is one of my pride and joys; but, this year, it has to go!

I'm in panto again at Bolton Little Theatre again but this time my beard is not compatible with the part!

"Oh yes it is!" I hear you shout in true panto style. "oh no it isn't" is the real answer though.

This year I'll be treading the boards as one half of the ugly sisters in Cinderella!

I always said that if the beard had to go then we need to give it a good send off and what better way than to raise some money for a fantastic charity!

Derian House provide respite and end-of-life care to more than 450 children and young people across the North West.

They do this 24 hours a day, seven days a week and are never close to those who need them.
