Story

Thank you so so much to everyone who has donated! We smashed our old fundraising target so we're now aiming for £2000! Any help you can give by donating or sharing the video is so so appreciated and will make a huge difference.

Here's our story...

Throughout the covid-19 pandemic Choir on the Green met virtually, sang songs and learnt harmonies. During that difficult time, our online meet ups provided a space where we could have some company and a chat whilst isolating at home.

One of the songs we learnt during that time was Fix You. The effects and difficulties of the pandemic were felt by everyone in choir and we wanted to create this video to highlight the mental health challenges that many people were experiencing. We decided to record this video to support The Mental Health Foundation’s awareness week, dressing in green to match the green ribbons worn by those supporting the charity’s important causes.

Once choirs were allowed to restart in person, new members joined. We wanted to allow as many people as possible to be in with the video and support the charity, so we have waited until this year to release it.

If you can donate anything to support this wonderful charity which is very close to our hearts, we would be incredibly grateful. We hope you enjoy the video.
