My lovely Mum, Mel, died from oesophageal cancer in November 2025. A much loved Mum, Grandma, friend and cat mum who is loved and missed dearly.

Oesophageal cancer has one of the lowest survival rates at only 15%. It is a horrible disease, taking away people’s ability to eat, drink and even talk properly.

I am raising money to help Ochre, a charity who helps improve outcomes for people affected by oesophageal cancer through awareness, research, and support. By promoting early diagnosis, funding innovative research, and providing compassionate guidance, they aim to create a future where this disease no longer takes lives prematurely.
