Story
On Sunday 10th September Nicole and myself will be taking part in the 18 mile Chiltern 3 Peaks challenge to raise funds for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice care.
*Update: Sadly we lost my beautiful nan on 4th August. Any donations to help support Rennie Grove and the wonderful care they give would mean the world to me.
On May 29th 2023 we received the heartbreaking news that my beloved nan has terminal pancreatic cancer. For the last 8 weeks we have been caring for her at home, however she now needs specialist care and support. She is currently at The Peace Hospice in Watford receiving end of life care. The staff at the hospice have been amazing, and words can’t express how grateful we are for the care that she has been given in her last few weeks. Those that know me know that my nan is my best friend, my rock. The hospice’s kindness and compassion through everything while trying to come to terms with this awful disease has helped tremendously.
Only 9% of Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care running costs are funded by the NHS, so they rely heavily on the efforts and generosity of the public.
Any donation, no matter how small, will help them to continue their amazing work and we are so grateful for any support.
