Story

Welcome to my 62 Miles in October challenge profile page for Diabetes UK.

My son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was in year 8,also my dad has been type 1 for most of his life, although i didnt witness how ill my dad was before he was diagnosed he nearly fell into a coma because of it,luckily i could tell my son wasnt right and noticed signs something was going on but still didnt think it was diabetes, luckily he was diagnosed before becoming too ill but his life completely changed because of it.

Did you know someone is diagnosed with diabetes approximately every two minutes?

More than 5.6 million people are living with diabetes in the UK right now.

So, I'm taking on this challenge this month towards a healthier me, and a better future for people living with and affected by diabetes.

Support my challenge by hitting the Give Now button on my profile page.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.
