Story
The opportunity to run in next year's marathon has been a dream turned into reality, one I never thought I would physically be able to do after spending a lot of time in and out of hospital for corrective surgeries on both of my legs. At the end of all 13+ procedures, walking unaided or avoiding amputation was the only ultimate result, with the chance of playing sports slim at best. I can say I learned to walk, before I could run (literally).
For loved ones who have passed, and to show support to those battling cancer now, I have chosen to run the 2025 London Marathon alongside MacMillan Cancer Support. Macmillan gives people with cancer the care needed throughout their journey. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them. The charities work resonates close to my heart, and it is an honour to be allowed to support a charity that deserves exposure whilst combining my love for running simultaneously. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, thank you💚
Love,
