Story
1 in 8 men in the UK are diagnosed with prostate cancer.
After being diagnosed with prostate cancer, a group of us men banded together to form ‘Madmen’, a group to raise awareness around prostate cancer and encourage every bloke to get a regular PSA test - it could save your life.
We began with a challenge in 2021, where we did up a car each for £500 into iconic movie motors, and did the North Coast 500.
This past year, we have been building a replica of the iconic Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, from donated parts. It is being unveiled tomorrow at Burwarton Show for the first time, and will depart from Ludlow on the 18th August to tour parts of Western Europe, including the filming locations.
We hope that our Chitty replica will raise money for the incredible work that Prostate Cancer UK do, but mainly that it raises awareness among men, encouraging a regular PSA test, but most importantly that it gets men talking about all of these things.
Every donation is appreciated, thank you so much for reading.
