Story
On Saturday, 20 September 2025, Huddersfield Town FC supporters and staff will be walking from Manchester’s Etihad Stadium to our home ground, the Accu Stadium – a journey of 25 miles (with an optional 10-mile shorter route) – all to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
We’re walking to support a cause that affects so many. Every penny you donate counts – and truly makes a difference.
The Alzheimer’s Society is working toward a future where dementia no longer devastates lives. They support those living with dementia today while funding research and campaigning for change to create hope for tomorrow.
Dementia is the biggest health and social care challenge of our time. In the UK, around 900,000 people are currently living with dementia – many undiagnosed and facing it alone. But thanks to the efforts of the Alzheimer’s Society and its supporters, that’s changing.
With your help, the Alzheimer’s Society can:
- Provide vital support to those who need it most
- Campaign to hold decision-makers to account
- Fund groundbreaking research to transform the future
Together, we can be help, support and hope for everyone affected by dementia.
Please donate and support our walk – because no one should face dementia alone.
