Swimming the Lakes for Level Water

Fundraising for Level Water
Swimming has always been a huge part of my life, giving me a constant source of physical exercise and providing me the opportunity to escape from reality after a long day to clear my head 🫶
Seeing how much it has helped me, I believe it is important for everyone to have the opportunity to learn this essential life skill. I am therefore taking on a huge challenge by swimming the three longest lakes in the Lake District end-to-end to raise money for children with disabilities to enable them to have the same opportunity I had as a child!
Swimming 10km is equivalent of a marathon, so I’m looking forward to the challenge! 🤪
Last year, I swam Coniston lake, 8.4km in 2:23hrs, which was an incredibly difficult but rewarding experience and I am so excited to continue training to take on the 2 longest lakes, Ullswater (12km) and Windermere (18km), this year for such an important cause! 🏞️
I am raising money for Level Water. Level Water use the power of swimming to improve lives for children with disabilities. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water. I would be hugely grateful if you would consider sponsoring me in this huge challenge to ensure every child, despite their needs, has the opportunity to learn such an important life skill.
