Story
Safe spaces for kids to learn and grow. Programs for seniors who are feeling isolated. Activities to keep children moving and developing as athletes. These are just a few of the many reasons to give to the Y. For decades, the Cheyenne YMCA has removed the obstacles that limit our neighbors’ ability to thrive. From swim lessons to wellness offerings to preschool programs, we strengthen our community every day. In 2022, we provided donor-funded financial assistance to 810 members, 118 program participants and 54 children in our childcare programs, ensuring that everyone has access to Y programs.
As our communities face unprecedented challenges, we continue to respond to our neighbors’ most pressing needs. Whether we are making affordable childcare accessible to working families or providing sports programs that build confidence and resilience in young athletes, the Y takes action.
When we see a neighbor who needs support, the Y stands ready to help with open arms and caring hearts. Join us and discover what a gift it is to give.
