Story
Chatham financial is partnered with the Rhythm Studio Foundation to raise money for young artists in need!
The Rhythm Studio Foundation believes that talented young musicians deserve a chance whatever their background. We work with schools, community groups and young people who have a passion for music but lack the means and support to take it further. We organise tuition, finance and career guidance to the next generation of musical stars. Here's a short film here to tell you what makes The Rhythm Studio Foundation so special. Would you like to give a little to change a life through music?
RSF Story
Why support us?
As access to music is becoming increasingly unavailable to young people due to a squeezed school curriculum or family financial conditions, we believe it's more important than ever to enable young people to transform or enrich their lives through music, whatever their background or their personal circumstances.
What we do
Based in West London, we deliver pop and rock music workshops which allow primary school children to experience the excitement of collaborative music-making. Each year over 500 local state primary school children participate in our workshops.
Our scholarship scheme offers weekly lessons on drums, guitar, bass, piano or vocals for talented and passionate 11-18 year-old musicians in need of financial support.
We have a weekly program of inspirational music workshops on the paediatric wards of Chelsea & Westminster & St Mary's Hospitals .
Each year The Rhythm Studio Foundation is involved in numerous community activities holding regular lunchtime concerts with RS 6th Formers at Chelsea & Westminster Hospitals as well as performances at Fulham Good Neighbours (senior citizens). We also work with refugee charity West London Welcome
How you can help
£20 could pay for a private one-to-one lessons for a child with a RSF Scholarship
£50 could pay for an iPad workshop for a local state primary school
£150 could fund a primary school Rock & Pop music workshop at The Rhythm Studio
£300 could fund a whole day of paediatric ward hospital workshops at two London hospitals
Each year, we need to raise £100,000 to fund our activities. Our work is supported through a combination of fundraising events, financial contributions from partners we work with and donations from private individuals and Trusts and Foundations.
