Here we go again!! This time across the pond, and it is going to be hard and hilly. I am nowhere near fit enough to do this right now, so here's to months of training, so I can get around without keeling over!!

I am running for Cobalt as they are celebrating their 60th Anniversary this year and I am proud to work for such an impactful charity.

As some of you know I went on a little breast cancer side trip journey in June this year, resulting in surgery and radiotherapy, but I have kept this goal in mind throughout. The AMAZING thing is I was diagnosed using specialist mammography equipment that Cobalt funded for the NHS a few years ago!

Your donation can continue to help Cobalt Medical Charity to invest in the latest diagnostic imaging equipment to:

Enable NHS patients to have an earlier and more accurate diagnosis and support through their treatments.

Participate in local, national, and international research to support more tailored treatment and improve patient outcomes in the future.

Work with the NHS on pioneering cancer screening initiatives to identify cancers at an earlier and more treatable stage.

Provide education opportunities for other medical professionals, to share knowledge and best practice.

Fund specialist nursing posts that would otherwise not be available through the NHS.
