We provide information, advice & support to everyone affected by a parents drinking

Story

This week marks the halfway point of my training for Manchester Marathon (eeeek🫣), so I wanted to share my fundraising plans ahead of questioning my life choices come 14th April 😂

I’ll be fundraising for Nacoa, a relatively small but hugely important charity that supports children of alcoholics. Having been bereaved as a result of alcoholism, I’ve always understood how isolating & taboo alcoholism can feel for those around it, making it an issue I feel hugely passionate about and an area that lacks support massively.

While the marathon is a huge personal challenge for me physically, it’s also the perfect time to raise some much needed donations for a charity super close to my heart.

Any donations big or small would be hugely appreciated more than you know 🫶🏻

About the charity

1 in 5 children in the UK are affected by their parents' alcohol problems. They are often frightened and isolated, with no one to turn to for help. Nacoa responds by providing a free, confidential telephone, 1-2-1 chat and email helpline.
