As many of you know, I’m a Community Fundraiser with Brain Tumour Research and have been supporting incredible people to take on amazing challenges for the last 18 months.

Some of you may not know I have sadly lost three friends to brain tumours and my dear Aunty Gina just lost her battle with lung cancer which metastasised into her brain.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease

As well as taking on a 50km trek through the Sahara in March as part of a team, I have also registered for the London Winter Walk marathon in January to help with training.

Both challenges will undoubtedly be incredibly hard but I feel so strongly about helping find a cure that I know I will succeed.
