Story
I am running the London Marathon 2025 to raise money for Spinal Research!
In 2021 a patient of mine sustained a spinal injury and was on the ward for 3 months before spending a year at Stoke Mandeville for intensive rehabillitation.
I have followed Pauls progress for the last 3 years and myself and Paul's wife Sarah along with our friend Kirsty have been given the opportunity to run London Marathon for this wonderful charity.
Someone sustains a spinal cord injury every four hours in the UK. Living with an SCI often means a lifetime of health and care costs, as well as the threat of secondary healthcare complications.
Spinal Research is the UKs leading medical charity focused on the repair and restoration of the spinal cord, and we exist to beat paralysis.
Spinal Research do not receive governmental funding; all projects are funded by donations.
With your help, we can #CureParalyis.
