Celebrate the memory of a loved one this October as you walk 10k beneath the stars while raising vital funds to help ensure no one faces death or grief alone.

Story

On the 19th October me and Noah will be walking the Cheltenham Starlight Hike in memory of our incredible friend and Mum, Amba who, sadly, passed away in July 2023 following a courageous battle with cancer, at the young age of 35.

This will be our second year walking under the stars ✨ in memory of Amba and raising money for the Sue Ryder Hospice in Cheltenham.

The hospice offer treatment and support to people with life limiting conditions and provide the most compassionate end of life care. They bring comfort and support to families during the most difficult times.

I’m so proud of Noah for doing this again in memory of his Mum, she’d be so proud of him.

I know times are tough but please if you can, please donate to this amazing charity. Thank you ❤️

How your money will help;

£20 could pay for a patient’s meals for the day in one of our hospices. We always do our best to cater for someone’s individual preferences and dietary requirements.

£25 could fund an hour of expert care, so our Sue Ryder doctors and nurses can help manage patients’ pain and symptoms.

£40 could provide our personalised text support service Sue Ryder Grief Coach to someone who is grieving for a year, as well as gentle coaching for friends and family who want to support them.
