I am raising money for my favourite local charity shop, Emmaus. They have 5 shops in West Norwood where I live, and I have bought my freezer, table and chairs and many other items from them.

Aside from the excellent charity/second hand shops they run, their cause is one that worries me on a daily basis, homelessness.

They are part of a bigger network, originating in Paris, who support homeless people with a bed for the night and work opportunities.

I was lucky enough to get a marathon place without raising large sums for charity, so I ask for any loose change that you might usually spend on your morning coffee or lunch to add to my donation pot.
