Story
Hi, my name is Charlie Sadler and I am not built for running - but sometimes there are causes that are so worthy of our money and attention, that even a bloke like me will get his running shoes on.
I am running (jogging, walking, crawling…) the London Marathon 2024 to raise money for the CF Trust. All 4 of my Mum’s brothers had Cystic Fibrosis: the twins died very young before she was born, her eldest brother died after a lung transplant in his early 30s and her youngest brother finally had a successful lung transplant in 2014.
Seeing how CF affects the daily lives of so many people, including family and students at my school, has called me to lace up and pound the pavement. Please consider donating to this incredible charity that work tirelessly to improve outcomes for CF sufferers.
Thank you!
MORE ABOUT CF:
MCystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition which causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system. It affects more than 10,800 people in the UK. One in 25 of us carries the faulty gene that causes it, usually without knowing.
Cystic fibrosis comes with challenges, affecting our physical health, mental wellbeing and how we choose to live our lives. But our community is uniting towards the ultimate goal of effective treatment for all.
Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the charity uniting people to stop cystic fibrosis.
