In November 2022, my youngest sister was diagnosed with Leukaemia. The last two years have been extremely difficult for my family.

Throughout my sister's treatment, Sophie's Legacy has provided relief and support. They provided meals and snacks for our mum, who had many overnight stays at the hospital. They brought in play specialists to keep my sister entertained during her long hospital stays and even during Christmas, Sophie's Legacy gifted Martha an advent calendar.

The support and relief that Sophie's Legacy provided us cannot be overstated.

To show my appreciation for all Sophie's Legacy has done, I have decided to participate in the Southampton marathon 2024 as a way to raise funds.
