Story

I work at Witney Community Support Service where we support adults with Learning Disabilities, older people, people with physical disabilities and mental health needs.

We are one of 7 Community Support Services across the county, run by Oxfordshire County Council providing activities and services to help people stay healthy, independent and engaged.

We support people out and about in their community, accessing many different activities such as, Swimming, Gym, Dancing, Ten Pin Bowling, Train Spotting to name a few!! We also hold many “in house” sessions, such as art & craft, music, relaxation, Pampering, gardening, cookery and sensory sessions.

We also support trips to the Theatre, Panto, Seaside, host Christmas and Garden parties plus many more.

I am hoping to raise as many pennies as I can to help fund these activities so we can continue to support these trips and give the people we support wonderful experiences that without us, they may not get to enjoy.

Thanks in advance.
