Fundraising for Bottle Match 2024 haircuts-
I'm currently a student at Falmouth University and have the amazing opportunity to represent Camborne School of Mines RFC (CSM) in the historic Varsity Rugby match vs Royal School of Mines RFC (RSM). This is the second-oldest varsity match in the world, and I am thrilled to be part of it!
Part of this historical fixture is a unique tradition for first-time players like myself to receive a terrible haircut before the match.
Each year the team chooses a charity that the money raised from the haircuts will be donated to. I am thrilled to share that 100% of the donations raised will be given to Sport in Mind.
Sport in Mind is the UK's leading mental health Sports Charity, collaborating with the NHS to implement physical activity projects such as sports, walking, dance, movement, gardening, and exercise sessions. Their mission is to facilitate recovery, promote mental well-being, enhance physical health, combat social isolation, and empower individuals.
Having always turned to sports during challenging times, I truly understand the positive impact it can have on mental health. This charity's commitment to using sports for healing and empowerment resonates deeply with me, and I'm honoured to be a part of raising funds for such a meaningful cause.
Your support can make a significant impact and I kindly ask you please for your support in this endeavour. Whether big or small, every donation contributes to making a difference. Your generosity will contribute to a cause that promotes mental well-being and creates positive change. Please consider donating whatever you can spare.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
