As most people know I have lost 2 women so close to my heart over the past few months! And both of these incredible women was treated at clatterbridge!

Unfortunately my big nan lost her battle on 23rd July 24 due to cancer of the soft pallet which rapidly spread to her throat:( she fought for around 3/4 years but when her time come she was surrounded with her nearest and dearest.

During this time my little nan was diagnosed with lung cancer where she battled and beat her cancer! She was very poorly after this and after her surgery on 1st August she remained in intensive care for 4 weeks where she fought for her life! She come home and 3 short weeks after she ended back in hospital battling her last fight surrounded with her family. She took her final breath on 23rd September 24

During all of this my beautiful aunty Denise was diagnosed with cancer too which she has well and truly kicked its backside! She is still fighting and will beat this a million times over!

So as you can see this hospital means so much to me and my family. So a small donation will go along long way to help family’s like mine get the treatments and support to beat their battles.

With over £500,000 raised in just three years by over 2000 incredible supporters, Clatterbridge will take you on another fantastic walk around Liverpool City Centre taking in views of some of the most iconic landmarks including the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, the Radio City Tower and of course Clatterbridge Cancer Centre: Liverpool.

Entertainment and music will also be playing throughout the walk so whether you walk the walk or sashay away you're sure to have an incredible time with us. This event is something you won't want to miss, so gather your friends and family because it's time to light up, and Glow Green!
